Title: Production support (C2C)
Work Location – Montreal, QC
Need strong Unix/Linux Commands experience.
• Work from our client’s Montreal office (no other locations), remote access for occasional use, or hybrid work depending on projects
• Regular working hours, no late night shifts
Primary Responsibilities:
• Handle production management services including end-user support, systems monitoring, incident management and problem management, plant management and event management
• Identify and implement automation to reduce toil, improve efficiency and eliminate customer impact
• Configure application monitors using industry-standard monitoring tools, as well as develop customized monitoring solutions
Manage / Drive outage calls and significant incidents; coordinate communications with financial controllers and IT groups
• Act as a primary escalation/communication point between Application development teams and Business Units
Primary skills required:
• Strong development experience with 4+ years of professional Production support experience
• Experience monitoring, supporting and troubleshooting Java applications
• Support experience on Unix/Linux platform
• Database understanding – SQL queries
• Experience supporting Java applications, basic java, client-server architecture
• Automation (Strong Shell ing, Python)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of Infrastructure (Windows/Unix), Networking concepts and protocols
• Exposure to highly Distributed, High availability, Fault-tolerant Systems
